Match Report: Elsecar Main X-X Frickley AFC
Today saw the return game between our U8 side and Frickley AFC after our boys went down to defeat at our first meeting. The difference in only 3 weeks was immense.
Our team played some excellent quality football and showed the opposition what they were made of. They played with passion and determination and managed to keep the game level.
Our development side also came back from a defeat last time to secure a win today with some brilliant football played. So proud of the way they held their own and had an extremely mature attitide. We're a fairly new team and it's amazing to see how well these boys have gelled and that they are always smiling and enjoying themselves. It makes me immensely proud to be their coach.
I think the lucky high fives at the beginning of the game from the Club Chairman made a difference! Well done boys!
