Already we find ourselves one month into the new year, some age groups are back playing with some about to start back.

Now its time to continue to praise those who have had a great start to the year with our January Player of the Month award!

" Player of the month for January is Jake.

Jake is the newest member of the team and has fitted in with the rest of the team straight away.

He has been consistently strong when playing in defence with some brilliant tackles.

He has also helped out in the net when needed.

" Due to a lack of game play in December the under 9's decided not to award a player of the month.

Instead we will choose to do two for January.

Our first January Player of the month goes to .... Ethan

Ethan is the newest member of the U9 squad and has settled in really well.

He is a very talented player and a fantastic team mate, He has grown in confidence since joining the team and puts heart and soul into every single game.

He is adaptable and happily plays in different positions and is an all round lovely lad.

As promised, the under 9's are awarding 2 players of the month for January.

For the last 3 weeks this player has showed up at training and given it his all and has got completely stuck in during games.

What a great 3 weeks he's had.

Hopefully he will continue to progress from this keep learning.

He definitely lives up to his "Jack the lad" name, always making everyone laugh and having a mischievous side!.
