Coaches Corner

We’re excited to announce a new initiative that allows our club coaches to share drills with one another, while also gaining access to a wide range of online drills—both from our website and trusted external sources.

This collaborative approach enables our coaches to learn from each other, continuously innovate, and develop new drills, all while staying aligned with the core philosophy of our club.

By fostering this environment of shared learning and unity, we aim to elevate the standard of our coaching and ensure that every player enjoys a consistent, engaging, and positive experience as they grow their game.

Elsecar Main's football story began in April 2020, a tough time for any football club let alone one just starting out.

A small committee Led by Martin Hague had a vision

We had our new home at Elsecar, Armroyd lane and got to work on building a club to be proud of, with only a few age groups we started our journey together as Elsecar Main, led by our eldest group back then the under 13's, we started to see the club grow on and off the pitch, from on the field development success to the off the pitch club events.

Fast forward to 2025 and we have now seen the club grow from a few teams to having a team in each age group some with two teams and we have since added a Adults team to the club which has been a long term aim for the club for our junior section to aim towards.

The best part of it all we have only just begun, our club is continuing to grow week by week and we cannot wait to see what the next 5 years will bring for us.

We wouldnt be here if it wasnt for all the hard work put in by many people over the years, weather you started out with us, or still are with us today, we thank those who have helped shape what the club is today.
